Weathers Creek Writer's Series is a unique opportunity to learn in a comfortable, intimate setting
with top-notch authors. Located in rural Iredell county, less than an hour from Charlotte, Hickory and Winston-Salem. Day long workshop includes farm fresh lunch.

Pamela Duncan, award-winning author of Moon Women, Plant Life, The Big Beautiful, and The Wilder Place (upcoming) currently teaches at Western Carolina University and at literary workshops across the Southeast.

This workshop will provide invaluable insight on the basics of creative writing from flash fiction to novels. You too can lean to write that ‘great summer read' and make it unbelievably believable.

WRITE IT & PUBLISH IT

Zelda Lockhart, author of Fifth Born, Fifth Born II, and Cold Running Creek is the 2010 Piedmont Laureate.

This workshop will provide a practical plan to turn that book project into a reality. It offers the unconventional truths about:

•  Getting It Written & Finished
•  Getting a Reputable Agent
•  Getting a Reputable Press

Guidance and priceless information on
Self-Publishing are also provided.

All sessions will begin promptly at 10 am and end about 4 pm. A delicious lunch is included. The fee for each workshop is $75.00. If you sign up for both, we offer the "serious writers" discount fee of $140.
